Heart of the Earth: 1/2 kilo brick of pure ceremonial cacao, direct trade from regenerative farm partners in Nabusímake, Colombia. Hidden inside the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Nabusímake is the spiritual capital of the Arhuaco indigenous group.
Theobroma cacao "the food of the gods" has been enjoyed in ceremony since its cultivation thousands of years ago. Rich in antioxidants and considered a heart-opener, this sacred plant medicine is a wonderful and decadent support for connecting to more love, self-awareness and vitality.
- Ethically sourced pure ceremonial cacao from a small collective of traditional farmers in the wild mountains of Colombia: the " Land where the sun is born“
- The cacao fruits are gathered from small farms and expertly fermented, sun dried, toasted and ground following ancestral practices, then poured by hand into leaf-lined molds
Each cacao brick comes with a recipe card for making ceremonial drinking cacao, and has been blessed by the Arhuaco people for healing and vitality.
Ingredients: 100% pure ceremonial cacao paste
Note: this cacao is processed and poured by hand, and is made with 100% pure cacao paste. You might notice some variance in cacao's natural fat distribution, which can appear like white deposits on the brick's surface. This is normal and is an indicator of pure, unrefined whole bean cacao that is rich in healthy fats for optimal nutrient absorption. Enjoy!
